Visual Identity was awarded Digital Communications Campaign of the Year at the 15th Annual British Chamber of Commerce Business Awards – for our work with Barker Shoes, one of our strongest partnership accounts.
We were also delighted to announce that our MD, Jacqui Wilkins, walked away with the prestigious Women’s Leaders Milton Keynes Award in the Creative Industries category. Living in the Milton Keynes area since the early 1960s, this award recognised her talents and achievements gained in the creative industry for over 30 years.
Of the numerous creative projects completed this year, Vi delivered the framework contract for the Ivory-Coast-based, African Development Bank, the prestigious Barker Shoes Communications’ Campaign, for which VI won the national award, and more recently, The Open University ‘Learning Around You’ national campaign for Adult Education.
Already 2019 looks to be another busy period with a number of new projects in the pipeline and websites, due to launch in the first quarter!
Of course, 2018 wasn’t without its challenges, the break-in at our offices and theft of our equipment certainly knocked us. But we are proud of the determination our staff showed in getting VI back in business within only two working days.
It is this attitude that drives our business and delivered Vi’s extraordinary growth and our passion that attracts the like-minded. The VI team continues to grow, with new members of staff joining us in 2019.
As a long established business in the MK area (est. 1989), we are absolutely delighted and humbled to be announced our DOUBLE NOMINATION in the MKBAA Awards – shortlisted as stage two finalists in both the Design and Creativity AND Small Business of the Year categories.
AND as if this wasn’t enough, this week VI received yet another accolade – we were announced winners in the professional services category of the International Visual Identity Awards (IVIA) 2018. Our 3rd year in a row winning this international award.
