Celebrating Excellence at the Women Leaders’ Awards 2024

I had the distinct pleasure of attending the Women Leaders’ Awards 2024, held on June 18th at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Stadium MK, as a personal guest of the esteemed Chinwe Osuchukwu. It was a night filled with inspiration, celebration, and recognition of the phenomenal women who are shaping the future of Milton Keynes.

The Women Leaders’ Awards 2024 event was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation and pride. The diversity and brilliance of the women being honoured were evident in every corner of the room. As we mingled and celebrated, it became clear that Milton Keynes is home to an extraordinary group of female entrepreneurs who are making significant impacts in their respective fields.

The evening was a feast for the senses. The food was exceptional, adding to the overall splendour of the event. The winners, representing a wide array of backgrounds and market sectors, each stood out in their class, showcasing their unique talents and contributions. It was a privilege to be surrounded by such accomplished individuals.

Chinwe Osuchukwu shone brightly as she presented the Skills, Education, and Training Award. This category that highlights the importance of empowering women through education and skill development. Chinwe is a Consultant paediatric neuro-disability and Community Paediatrician with over 13 years of experience. Chinwe has led numerous initiatives to improve education, training, and patient care within the NHS. Her dedication and expertise have made a profound impact, earning her numerous local and national awards.

Dr. Julie Mills OBE DL and Ruby Palmer were fantastic on stage, seamlessly guiding the evening with their charming and humorous presentation. Their camaraderie and wit added a delightful touch to the proceedings, making the night even more memorable.

Everyone in attendance looked stunning in their evening wear, embodying the elegance and sophistication of the occasion. The ‘Be You’ dress code was a wonderful reminder of the importance of authenticity and confidence – traits that all the finalists and winners exemplify.

As a representative of Visual Identity, I applaud all the winners and finalists. Each one of them is a testament to the incredible talent and dedication found in our community. Their achievements not only highlight their successes but also serve as an inspiration for future generations of women leaders, fostering confidence and ambition.

Recognising outstanding female role models

The Women Leaders’ Awards is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of the remarkable women who live and work in the Milton Keynes area. It is a beacon of inspiration, encouraging businesses and individuals to support and champion women in all sectors. By recognising these outstanding role models, we aim to inspire more women to become confident leaders. The awards champion equity, and raise the aspirations of girls and young women from all backgrounds.

As a previous winner of the Women Leaders Award, Creative Industries category in 2018, I continue to support and celebrate women’s achievements in Milton Keynes.
