Hosted by Women Leaders MK, the prestigious Women’s Leaders Milton Keynes Awards Gala Evening event recognises the talents and achievements of women living or working in the Milton Keynes postcode area.
The annual Women’s Leaders Milton Keynes Awards aims to enable women living or working within the Milton Keynes and surrounding area to experience the same empowerment and recognition achieved by winners.
The evening was held on Friday 12th October 2018 at the Stadium MK and Hilton Double Tree Hotel in Milton Keynes. The event attracted a packed ballroom of more than 500 guests, who attended the gala dinner and award ceremony. There were 14 award categories which represent a diverse range of business disciplines. The finalists were judged by a panel of business leaders (men and women) from a wide range of industry sectors.
The Women’s Leaders, Milton Keynes Awards Winners event provides the intimate setting to celebrate. It is a great opportunity for everyone who attends to dine and network as the award winners are announced.
All the winners in selected categories are automatically entered for and go on to compete in the National Forward Ladies Award, which is strongly linked to the Women’s Leaders Awards.
Jacqui Wilkins, MD, Visual Identity was a finalist in the Creative Industries award, which was judged by Keith McLean, Executive Office Manager for Iain Stewart MP, Ruby Parmar, Senior Partner, PWC and Dr Julie Mills, CEO, MK College.
The Creative Industries was the first award of the evening and Visual Identity is delighted to announce that Jacqui was crowned the Women’s Leader winner in this category. As she walked up to the stage to collect her award, Steve Walls the compare for the evening said:
“The judges were blown away by Jacqui’s vitality and drive. She has taken her lifelong passion stimulated by her experiences at the Chelsea College of Arts and driven a highly successful and creative business based on her values and her belief in the power and impact of unique thought.”
This is a terrific achievement for Jacqui and a great platform for Visual Identity for growth in the next 12-months. After the event, Jacqui was quoted as saying:
“I am proud that over the last 30 years we have established ourselves and grown as a local family business that thinks big, delivers high-quality work, across all sectors.
